description: This study aims to determine the quality of Di Nonfiction Picture Books  Library Taman Pintar Yogyakarta. In this study, researchers used a qualitative  method with descriptive approach. Data collection technique used documentation,  observation and interviews. Results concluded that overall from the entire  collection of books illustrated nonfiction contained in the Library of Taman Pintar  Yogyakarta 90% have good quality, according to six criteria expressed by Huck,  et al, which is illustrated on the cover in accordance with the theme and content of  the book, message submitted illustrations support the verbal text, illustrations  described with captions or labels, artistic medium used in accordance with the  purpose of the book, an illustration can represent the original object, and a  comparison of the text and illustrations balanced. Of the hundred nonfiction  picture book titles that match the first criteria is "the illustration on the cover of  the book in accordance with the theme and content of the book" there are 92 titles.  For the second criterion, namely "the message conveyed illustrations support the  text verbal" there are 99 titles. The third criterion "illustration is described with  captions or labels" there are 83 titles. The next criterion is "Artistic media used in  accordance with the purpose of the book" there are 99 titles that correspond than  100 titles. whereas for the criteria "illustration can represent the original object"  there are 100 titles were appropriate, and the latter is the criterion of "comparison  of the text and illustrations balanced" that there were 68 titles of books of 100  titles. Collection of nonfiction picture books in the Library Taman Pintar  Yogyakarta memiliiki good quality and should be added to the collection.
