Hylopetes lepidus had gray cheek as its unique characteristics. The reproductive organs are the key to success in maintaining the new descendants. Male reproductive organs will produce cells the male sex cells or spermatozoa are alive. Important to do research on the anatomy and histology to determine the maturity of the reproductive organs flying squirrel. The purpose of the research is to study anatomy of the structure, morphometry, histomorphometry and histology of male reproductive organs (penis, testicle, vas deferens, bulbouretralis gland, prostate and seminal vesicles) of Hylopetes lepidus. The method used in observing histological characteristics is Hemactoxilin – Eosin stain method. Anatomical observation including color, shape, and location of the reproductive organs. Observation of anatomical characters includes observation of weight, length and diameter of reproductive organs. Histomorphometry measuring includes diameter of seminiferus tubule, diameter of epididymis, diameter of epididymal lumen and high of epididymal epitelium, The structure of reproductive organs were histologically observed by using optilab microscope. The results of the study showed that the adult male flying squirrel has body weight 104,28 ± 0.64 gram. Anatomically, it has oval white reddist testicle. The testicle is located side out of the body cavity in the scrotum. Morphometric observation testicular showed that it has right volume 0.35 ± 0.07 ml, and the left volume 0.35 ± 0.07 ml, weight of the right testicular 0.19 ± 0.01 gram, weight of the leaft testicular 0.18 ± 0.01 gram, long diameter of the right testicular 6.35 ± 0.21 mm, long diameter of the left testicular 6.35 ± 0.21 mm, short diameter of the right testicular 3.45 ± 0.21 mm, and short diameter of the left testicular 3.45 ± 0.21 mm. histomorphometrically the testicle has diameter of tubulus seminiferus 261,4 ± 0.14 μm. The conclusion of this study compared to rodentia other testicular Hylopetes lepidus has a unique testicular bound by the connective tissue in the scrotum so that testicular included in class permanent descending testicular. The prostate gland has the shape of a rhombus are blunt, while histologically Hylopetes lepidus had sertoli cells in the seminiferus tubule elongated shape, while in morphometry penis Hylopetes lepidus relatively longer than the Mus musculus. date: 2016-08-30 type: Thesis type: NonPeerReviewed format: text language: en identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/23138/2/12640015_BAB-I_IV-atau-V_DAFTAR-PUSTAKA.pdf format: text language: en identifier: https://digilib.uin-suka.ac.id/id/eprint/23138/1/12640015_BAB-II_sampai_SEBELUM-BAB-TERAKHIR.pdf identifier: SHANGHNESY JOVITA N, NIM. 12640015 (2016) STRUKTUR ANATOMI DAN HISTOLOGI ORGAN REPRODUKSI TUPAI TERBANG HYLOPETES LEPIDUS (HORSFIELD, 1822) JANTAN.
