Study with non-equivalent control group design involved all seventh grader students of SMP N 2 Tempel with 62 seventh-grade students used as a sample that were grouped to VII C and VII D. Variables in this study are Brainstorming learning method based on Ki Hajar Dewantara Learning System as dependent variable, mathematical disposition and literacy ability as independent variable, and mathematical prior knowledge as control variable. Instruments of the study are test of mathematical literacy ability and scale of mathematical disposition. The datas are analyzed by using two-path ANOVA with normality and homogenity test as prerequisite test. Study finds that there is no difference of mathematical disposition and literacy ability between students who follows Brainstorming Learning Methode and students who follows convensional learning, and there is no interaction between learning and mathematical prior knowledge to increase mathematical disposition and literacy ability.} }
