        abstract = {This research aims to find the relationship between adversity quotient and
social support with Task commitmentt at student college who currently doing the
thesis on state universities in Yogyakarta. The subjects of this research are 260
student college from 2010 and 2011 from four universities in Yogyakarta and they
are Gadjah Mada University, Yogyakarta State University, Sunan kalijaga Islamic
State University, University of National Development ?Veteran? Yogyakarta. They
were collected byusing Task commitmentt scale, adversity quotient scale, and social
support scale. The datas were analized with correlational test multiple regression
analysis technique.The result shows that there is significant relationship between
adversity quotient and social support with Task commitmentt at student college who
currently doing the thesis on state universities in Yogyakarta. It shows by correlation
coefficient of multiple regression as R = 0.413 with effective contribution R square
(R2) 0.170 or 17\%, and significance level p = 0.004. thus, it proves that the
hypothesis in this research is accepted}
