This is Quasi Experimental Design research with Non Equivalent Pretest- Posttest Design. The variables in this research include independent variable in the form of Guided Inquiry learning model and dependent variable in the form of higher order thinking skills. The population in this research is grade X students in 1 Depok Senior High School with four classes. This sampling is done by using cluster random technique. Students of X D are chosen as experimental class and students of X E are chosen as control class. In this research, the data analysis used is parametric statistic using t test and N-gain. The results show that Guided Inquiry learning model effects to the higher order thinking skills of students on dynamic electricity by value of tscore= 1.018, sig.(2-tailed) = 0.001, and N-gain value is 0.44. And from the two results can show that the treatment is given to the experimental class is success. It is because there are external factors in learning class, such as the active class condition and the students are prepared to receive the lesson.
