Such a situation necessitates that teachers develop evaluation methods that corresponds to these differences. Some educational institutions have indeed made an attempt to modify their evaluation method to address the specific needs of students with disabilities. Some modifications include computer-based evaluation, use of screen readers (for those with visual impairment), oral exam, or providing a reader and note taker. In the implementation however, effective communication between students and the teacher/ lecturer is required to ensure that the best evaluation method is selected for individual students.
