%A NIM. 13140050 NOVA MAZIATUL ULYA %O Faisal Syarifudin, S.Ag., S.S., M.Si., %T ANALISIS KEGIATAN MENDONGENG DI PERPUSTAKAAN TUNAS AULIA SD MASJID SYUHADA’ YOGYAKARTA %X This research aims to find out the kinds of activities undertaken by the librarian before presenting fairy tales to students and how the implementation of the storytelling activity at the Library of Masjid Syuhada’ Elementary School Yogyakarta by analyzing what was found in the field and compare it with the existing theories. This study is a qualitative research study which is take place in Masjid Syuhada’ Elementary School Yogyakarta The data collection is done by using the method of observation, interviews, and documentation. Analysis of data using qualitative descriptive analysis begins with data collection, data reduction, data display, and celaboration. The test validity of the data using triangulation techniques and member-check. Based on the interview and research that has been done, it can be concluded that the storytelling activities require some activities performed by librarians before presenting fairy tales, which is including special preparation and special general preparation. The activities are grouping fairy tales and fables election. For the general preparation 1) Confirmation to the classroom teacher for the approval of the storytelling activity, 2) Determine the theme of a story based on the class to be taught storytelling, 4) Choose books / stories for storytelling, 4) Determine the tools that will be used for storytelling, 5). Determine the technical that will be used of the storytelling. There are seven stages in the implementation of the fairy tales performed by librarians: 1). Conditioning of the children, 2). Initial opening, 3). The introduction of the characters, 4). The Delivery of a fairy tale and the interaction, 6). Quizzes, and 7). Closing. The author's advice to the librarian of Tunas Aulia In determining the criteria for selecting a fairy tale, we should consider other parties like classroom teacher and school student section consideration.
