Data were collected through interviews and observations about parenting style in two families consists of wife and husband of the six-year-old child with SAD. Taken together, the result suggest that: a) Parental backgrounds such as level education and social economic status influencehow parent treat their children; b) the experience of parenting that parent had before, also influence how parent treats their children who have the propensity of separation anxiety disorder; c) the difference of parenting practice between father and mother and also inconsistency of parenting influence child?s behavior; d) father involvement in parenting wereassociated toward children?s behavior; e) the discrepancy of meaning toward marriage has also influence in spouse involvement toward child rearing.
