N2  - SD Negeri II Manangga Tasikmalaya is one of elementary school in
Tasikmalaya, West Java. During this time, the data management of SD Negeri II
Manangga Tasikmalaya using manual system which are common difficulties and
require considerable time to search data. Beside making more difficult and having
a big risk, this system is so often requires a considerable time in searching data.
This research has a goal to design and build an academic information systems
which expected can help the school?s staff in data management.
This system is using Rapid Application Development (RAD) as the
research method. RAD is a sequential linear software development process model
that emphasizes a very short development cycle. The Stages of this research
method is divided into several steps including: design phase requirements, system
design phase, construction phase and the implementation phase. This system will
be build with PHP programming language, MYSQL database and XAMPP as a
web server.
Test result shows that functionality of the system in percentage of 100%,
which means the system is able to perform all of its functions well. While the
percentage of usability for admin is 100%, for teachers is 79%, and for student is
88% able to accept this system.
