"Sleman is a regency which has got a lot of tourism villages. One of them is Gabugan\r\nTourism Village that is located in foot of Merapi volcano subdistrict of Turi. This\r\ntourism village is existed since 2004. As long as the journey, this tourism village has\r\never in a situation in which a vacuum exists as consequence of earthquake at 2006\r\nand Merapi volcano’s eruption at 2010 in Yogyakarta. At that time, visit of tourists to\r\nGabugan Tourism Village is getting down drastically so the popularity of Gabugan\r\nTourism Village disappear. Therefore, the organizer designs and does marketing\r\nactivities so that tourism village could be known more and the number of visit of\r\ntourists is mounting. The stage of these marketing activities is begun by doing a\r\nmarketing management. The focus of this research is how the marketing management\r\nis done by the organizer of Gabugan Tourism Village with using social media as tool\r\nof the marketing.\r\nThis research uses descriptive qualitative method. The main informant of this\r\nresearch is the organizer of Gabugan Tourism Village who be represented by\r\nsecretary and some administrators of social media. The data was collected by in-depth\r\ninterview, observation, and documentation.\r\nThis research, the organizer of Gabugan Tourism Village had carried out marketing\r\nwell via online. That activity brought the benefit to analyze marketing level for\r\nGabugan Tourism Village. Some steps of marketing management carried out by yhe\r\norganizer start from analyze, planning, implemantation, and marketing control. It also\r\ncould be benefecial to know the opportunities and threat of Gabugan Tourism\r\nVillage. Marketing management could give good result by realizing the fact that\r\ntourism visitors increased after the organizer used media sosial which had not been\r\nanalyzed before by using marketing management.
