"Tujuan makalah ini adalah untuk mengetahui konsep motivasi lslami yang ada dalam Islam.Makalah ini merupakan\r\neksplorasi buku-buku literature dan jurnal baik klasik maupun modem, yang membahas mengenai psikologi umum atau\r\nnuansa psikologi Islam.Presentasi dalam makalah ini adalah secara descriptive.Metode yang digunakan adalah kerangka\r\npenalaran induktif deduktif.\r\nHasil dari studi literature sulit menunjukkan teori yang komprensifmengenai motivasi lslami. Di sisi lain ditemukan\r\nayat Qur'an dan Hadits yang memuat pesan motivasional. Menurut Dowson, rukun Islam dan rukun iman menunjukkan\r\nstruktur motivasi manusia. Jika keduanya dapat dikategorikan dalam teori motivasi Islami, maka keduanya merupakan\r\nmotivasi intrinsic dan ekstrinsic.Muslim yang mempraktekkan rukun Islam merupakan manifestasi dari motivasi Islami\r\nekstrinsik, sedangkan mereka yang mempraktekkan rukun iman merupakan manifestasi dari motivasi instrinsik.Motivasi\r\ninstrinsik lebih banyak dipenuhi oleh mereka yang mengambil jalan sufisme, sedangkan motivasi ekstrinsik banyak\r\ndipenuhi oleh mereka yang berpuasa dan melaksanakan syariah.\r\nKata kunci : motivasi dan Islam\r\nABSTRACT\r\nThe purpose of this paper is to understand the concept of Islamic motivations that exists in Islam. This paper is an\r\nexploration of literature books and journals either classic or modern, which explain about general psychology or psychological\r\nnuances in Islam. This paper is presented descriptively. The method used is inductive deductive reasoning\r\nframework.\r\nBased on literatures study, it showed that finding a comprehensive theory of motivation Islam is difficult. On the other\r\nhand, there are verses of ai-Quran and ai-Hadist which gives motivational messages. According to Dawson, the pillars of\r\nIslam and the pillars oflslamic Faith show structure of human motivation. If the pillars of Islam and the pillars of Islamic\r\nfaith are claimed as Islamic motivational theory, it can be categorized into extrinsic and intrinsic motivation. Muslim who\r\npractice the five pillars of Islam manifest extrinsicislamic motivation, while those who practice the pillars of Islamic faith\r\nmanifest intrinsic Islamic motivation. Intrinsic motivation is more fulfilled by people who followSufism, whereas extrinsic\r\nmotivation is more fulfilled by Muslims who do fastingand syari 'ah.\r\nKey words : Motivation and Islam"^^ .
