abstract: This study aims to determine (1) the use of the school library by the
students (2) student achievement (3) the use of libraries on student achievement.
This research included exposure facto study using a quantitative approach to the
entire population of a class XI student of Computer Engineering Department of
SMK Negeri 2 Klaten Network in the academic year 2016/2017, amounting to 64
people. Data collection techniques in this study using observation, interviews,
questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis using product moment
correlation and simple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 16.
The results showed that the use of SMK N 2 Klaten by students as a whole
included in both categories, as evidenced by the grand mean score of 2,97.
Furthermore, there is the effect of the use of libraries on student achievement class
XI Network Computer Engineering Department of SMK Negeri 2 Klaten in the
academic year 2016/2017. From the results of the correlation that the magnitude
of the correlation coefficient (r) between the variable use of the library (X) and
student achievement (Y) is equal to 0.379. Because rvalue greater than rtable (0.379
0.244), the correlation is said to be significant. Based on the test results the
hypothesis Ho is rejected and Ha accepted which means that the use of libraries
affect the class XI student achievement Network Computer Engineering
Department of SMK Negeri 2 Klaten in the academic year 2016/2017.
