        abstract = {This study aims to look at the preparedness of fire disaster that has been
applied at Library and Archives Office of Yogyakarta. The researcher used a
qualitative research approach in this study. Methodes of data collection in this study
were interviews, observations and documentations methodes. Data analysis of this
study were data reduction, presentation of data and conclusion. The result of this
study shows that in doing the preparedness of fire disaster, Library and Archives
Office of Yogyakarta do a duplication and a dispersal archive, provide the fire
equipment such as fire extinguishers, hydrants, smoke detectors, fire resistant room,
cctv and air conditioning. The obstacles in increasing preparedness of fire disaster
were budget, human resources and management.}
