It is effect on social development in the virtual space, which is a replica of the real world. As one of the most widely used?s social media in Indonesia is Instagram. Instagram features make it easy for users to share their activities and life story on their account. Instastory increasingly make it comfort for Instagram users to be able to share their accounts activity without worrying make a spam.The Instagram features make it easier to share informarmation in virtual space which is no boundaries geographically. Unfortunately, it make difficult for users to control their own communication privacy. Information that shared in Instagram account is in personal boundaries no more. It?s already on the collective boundaries, which can be accessed by the public. This research aims to determine the management of personal privacy in using Instagram, to Student of State Islamic University Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta. There is three sutdents as subject in this research. They ware taken base on predetermined criteria and different backgrounds. This research was analyzed using qualitative methods, with descriptive sudies approach. The results of this research showed that management of personal privacy different from each other. It is depend on users?s background and motive.} }
