N2  - Pangandaran Beach attraction is one of the potential tourist attraction in
Pangandaran Regency, Province West Java which has a large enough number of
visitors. This study aims to determine the factors that influence tourist visits to
Pangandaran Beach. In addition, this study analyzes the economic value of
Pangandaran Beach attractions by using the travel cost method.
The analytical tool used in this research is Multiple Linear Regression with
the influence of income variable, travel cost to Pangandaran Beach, travel cost to
other beach (Karapyak Beach), long trip and facility to tourist visit. Travel expenses
include transportation costs, admission, consumption, souvenirs, sky boat rental and
others.
The results of this study indicate that income variables, travel costs to
Pangandaran Beach, and facilities have a positive and significant impact on tourist
visits. While the cost of travel to other beaches (Karapyak Beach) and long trips have
negative and insignificant impact on tourist visits. The economic value of
Pangandaran Beach attractions by using the travel cost approach is
Rp3.766.794.891.
