description: The aim of this study is to determine the role of Derap Syuhada’ Bulletin to the libraries promotion which conducted in the library of Masjid Syuhada' Elementary School and to know the target that has been achieved after the library bulletin exists. The researcher uses qualitative methods. The data collecting methods are through by observation, interview and documentation. The data analysis of this research is using Matthew B Miles & Michael Huberman, that consisting of the data reduction, data presentation, and verification.The result of this research is that the role of library bulletin had been role enough to the library promotion. The 4 bulletin functions that were taken from the press function, just only 1 aspect is not suitable. The 4 functions include to inform, to educate, to influence, to entertain. The less appropriate function is to influence, because the users who can be influenced to use the library are less thorough. Bulletin Derap Syuhada’ can be a creative medium and enhance student about authorship. With the bulletin students have the means to create and developing their talents of writing as well as drawing. In this study, the researcher suggests that the library should add the media of promotion or optimize the existing of electronic media such as library blogs, then in terms of bulletin content, it should be more advanced about the information of library. In addition, the librarians should pay attention to the font or design in bulletin with highlight the colors to be more interesting.
