abstract: The purpose of this research was to examine the correlation between work life balance and psychological well being of working mothers at government institusion of Yogyakarta. The hypothesis of this research is there are positive correlation between work life balance and psychological well being of working mothers at government institusion of Yogyakarta. The sampling method that used in this research is purposive sampling method with 60 married women workers as sample. This research used work life balance scale based on the work life balance dimention by Greenhause (2003) and psychological well being scale based on the psychologial well being dimention by Ryff (1989). Data analysis was performed with statistical technique Product Moment from Pearson, with the help of SPSS (Statistical Package for sosial science) software from the analysis data, the result has the values of (r) = 0,489 and p=0,000 (p0,05). That means the hypothesis in this research are accepted. There are significant correlation between work life balance and psychological well being of working mothers at government institusion of Yogyakarta. The contribution variable of Work Life Balance toward variable Psychological Well being in this research was showed by coefficient of determinant (r²) value of 0,443. Work life balance contributed affectively 44,3% toward Psychological well being.
