The academic data is very important and need to be kept safe. Security testing is necessary to be conducted to see the vulnerability of Academic Information System so that the information security level can be determined. Furthermore, it can serve as an improvement material to make a better Academic Information System of Sunan Kalijaga Islamic State University. The stages of the research were based on qualitative method. It used some tools namely software. In addition, this research employed initiation stage, investigation stage, test stage, and verification stage. The tools used in this test were Acunetix Web Vulnerability, Netsparker, Nessus, Sqlmap, XSSer, and Bettercap. The result of Academic Information System Security Testing of Sunan Kalijaga Islamic State University Yogyakarta showed that there were found 8 vulnerability types using Acunetix Web Vulnerability, 6 vulnerability types using Netsparker, and 7 vulnerability types using Nessus. Furthermore, the information system was not vulnerable to SQL Injection and XSS attacks, but was vulnerable to packet sniffer attacks.} }
