Yogyakarta tourism sector provides almost all sector; education, history, culture and nature. From those all tourism sector in Yogyakarta, historical destination is the one of the most visited sectors by local, national and even abroad tourists. Vredeburgh museum is one of the tourist destinations that provide a record of Indonesian history since colonial times until the post-independence of Indonesia. The museum has detailed notes in the form of small diorama and descript of each historical events related to the Indonesian people, but what happens is that tourists still want to be guide by a tour guide from the museum. This research was conducted to know the rhetoric used by the museum tour guide in guiding the tourists using five stages which were exacerbated by the rhetoric of Aristotle, this research is a qualitative study by using data collection techniques; interviews and observation. From this research, writer concludes that Vredeburg museum guides do five stages of rhetoric so that the guides could convey the contents of the museum properly.
