IP., M. A. abstract: This research aims to find and describe propaganda technique in news post at okezone.com period 2017, 9-11 February. In this period, the population of this news post is 69 post, and the sample used is just 31 news that have a word “one of the candidates” in the tittle post. Methods of data collection using screen capture documentation of items on the timeline okezone.com at channel Pilkada DKI, and by doing research literature obtained from books, internet, coding sheet, and other studies are considered to be relevant. The analysis result obtained is, items on the timeline channel Pilkada DKI at okezone.com during 9-11 February 2017 which is as sample is 31 post, as many as 24 post reflect propaganda technique by taking the size of 7 propaganda technique by Institute of Propaganda Analysis by Yale University. By the 24 post, can be specified 50% including plain folk technique, 20,83% including bandwagon, 12,5% including plain folk technique, 8,33% each for transfer and testimony technique, and 0% each for name calling and glittering generality technique. There is 5 of 7 technique that match to this 24 post.
