N2  - The purpose of this study is to analyze the factors which influence the human
development index in West Sumatera Province for a periode of 6 years, from
2010-2015. The dependent variable in this study is the human development index
(Y), while the independent variable is the budget for health (X1), GRDP (X2) and
unemployment (X3). The research method that used in this analyse is
Ordinary Least Square (OLS), which use multiple linear regression method and
analyse tool that used to process the pool is Eviews 8. These results indicate that
the variable budget for health and GRDP positive and significant impact on the
HDI. While the unemployment has no effect on the HDI. The coefficient of
determination obtained by 0,987616, meaning that all the independent variables
in this study could explain the dependent variable amounted to 98,76%, while the
remaining is explained by other variables outside the model.

mempengaruhi indeks pembangunan manusia di Provinsi Sumatera Barat dalam
kurun waktu 6 tahun, mulai dari tahun 2010-2015. Adapun variabel terikat dalam
penelitian ini adalah indeks pembangunan manusia (Y), sedangkan variabel
bebasnya adalah APBD untuk kesehatan (X1), PDRB (X2) dan pengangguran
terbuka (X3). Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah
Ordinary Least Square (OLS), dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear
berganda dan alat analisis yang dipakai untuk mengolah data yaitu dengan
menggunakan Eviews 8. Hasil Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa variabel APBD
untuk kesehatan dan PDRB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap IPM.
Sedangkan pengangguran terbuka tidak berpengaruh terhadap IPM. Nilai
koefisien determinasi diperoleh sebesar 0,987616, artinya semua variabel
independen dalam penelitian ini mampu menjelaskan variabel dependen sebesar
98,76%, sedangkan sisanya dijelaskan oleh variabel yang lain diluar model.
Kata kunci: IPM, APBD untuk kesehatan, PDRB dan tingkat pengangguran
terbuka.
