This research is a descriptive quantitative research. The populations are library users who have library member card with number 48.326 members and it takes 100 persons as the sample. Collecting sample technique that used in this research is accidental sampling. The primary data collecting technique is questionnaire that used Likert scale with 4 alternative answers. The secondary data collecting techniques are documentation and observation. Meanwhile, to check the validity and reliability, the researcher used the correlation of Product Moment and Alpha Cronbach. Based on the result of the data analysis, the research finds that the average score is 3,09.thus, based on the interval scale, it found that the library users? perception about excellent service in sub-variable of validity is 3,03 which categorized as good. There are some sub-variables which categorized as good; attitude with the number 3,10; attention with the number 3,04; action with number 3,01; and accountability with number 3,10. Besides the sub-variables with the categorized as good, the researcher also finds the result of sub-variable which categorized as excellent, it is sub-variable of appearance with the number 3,26. The recommendations for the Library Service of BPAD DIY (Grhatama Pustaka) are: 1) it needs to pay attention on how librarians welcome visitors who come to the library, 2) librarians should always be ready to assist library users who need help, especially in finding books on shelves, 3) librarians should be more responsive in listening and understanding the collections that library users need, 4) it needs for awareness of librarians to the problems faced by library users in the library.} }
