The type of this research was quantitative descriptive with the subject of this research was librarian and the object of this research was the implementation of librarian?s professional ethic within circulation service based on user?s perception in Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kulon Progo. The population in this research was library users with the total of the members about 18.297. From the population the sample taken by Yamane formula, the amount of the sample in this research was 99 members. Sample-taking method used was purposive sample technique. This research used single variable which was the librarian?s professional ethic. The perception of the user measured based on 2 standard of librarian?s professional ethic which was considered relevant by the researcher to know the implementation of librarian?s professional ethic within circulation service based on user?s perception that was the librarian?s attitude and the relationship toward user. The result of the research showed that the implementation of librarian?s professional ethic within circulation service based on user?s perception in Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kulon Progo with the total average value about 3.20 that was categorized as good. Based on that result, it was suggested to the librarian subdivision of circulation service in Dinas Perpustakaan dan Kearsipan Kulon Progo to improve the service that reflected the librarian?s ethic code, which was arranged the books to be more organized, increase the awareness toward user, and increase the sense of responsibility to the user.} }
