N2  - This resreach entitle Memoirs "dewey : the small library town who touched the world" (content analysis about library and librarian image) is aim to looking for Library and Librarian Image and how?s Library can improve their Image in public opinion. This resreach is qualitative with the approach of this research is sociology of literature. Collecting data methode by reading and making notes. Source of data was primary that is memoirs Dewey : The Small Town Library Cat who Touched the World. There are two various image that find from this resreach, frist is positive image and second is negative image. Library Positife Image : Library is a building that capacious and available so people feel gald when they visit library, library is an oase for some people who visit library, library is an enthusiam injection for some use who is visit library, library is the house for ghatering all people in town. Library Negatife Image : Library is an unity building that not wide, library is not the first necessary for people even city council neglectful that library, librray is also a building that too cold and too efficient. Librarian Negatife Image : researcer not find library positive image on Spencer Public Library in Memoirs Dewey : the small town library cat who touched the world. Librarian Negatife Image : Librarian is not the frist occupation that people considered when they look for job, librarian is an occupation that the work sector is just sticked to book like giving stamp on book, librarian is not official goverment employee that the self development cost no need goverment to subsidy, librarian just refer as occupation that ?whoever can do? because they just take care of book.
