        abstract = {This study aims to determine the correlation of akidah by thinking positively on
the students of Psychology Study department of Islamic State University Sunan
Kalijaga Yogyakarta working on thesis. Research subjects in this study are
psychology department students working on thesis from the force 2010 to the
force of 2012 which totaled 75 (N=75) students from the population of 135
students. Sampling technique in this research using quota sampling technique.
Methods of data collection in this study using the scale of strength of akidah, and
the scale of positive thinking. Data analysis is done by correlation product
moment technique. The results showed that there is a very significant positive
relationship between the strength of akidah with positive thinking on the students
working on the final project (thesis), this is indicated by the coefficient = 0.473
with p = 0.000, thus the hypothesis accepted. Effective contribution of Akidah
strength to positive thinking of students who are doing final task (Thesis) of
22.4\%.  ( INDONESIA ) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan kekuatan akidah dengan
berpikir positif pada mahasiswa program studi Psikologi Universitas Islam Negeri
Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhri (skripsi).
Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa prodi psikologi yang
sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir (skripsi) dari angkatan 2010 sampai dengan
angkatan 2012 yang berjumlah 75 mahasiswa dari jumlah populasi 135
mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sample pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik
quota sampling. Metode pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan
skala kekuatan akidah, dan skala berpikir positif. Analisis data dilakukan dengan
teknik correlation product moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat
hubungan positif yang sangat signifikan antara kekuatan akidah dengan berpikir
positif pada mahasiswa yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir (skripsi), hal ini
ditunjukkan oleh koefisien = 0,473 dengan p = 0,000, dengan demikian hipotesis
diterima. Sumbangan efektif kekuatan akidah terhadap berpikir positif mahasiswa
yang sedang mengerjakan tugas akhir (Skripsi) sebesar 22,4 \%.}
