%X The salafiyah in deed has been developed since the early period of Islam  and it based its movement on the interpretation of the Quran recommended by  the salafus salih. In recent Indonesia, however, some people see that terrorism  has close relationship with this salafiyah movement. It is because both the  salafiyah and terrorism actors usually have similar characteristic in their way  of thinking and their behavior. This article is aimed to seek the relation between  the salafiyah doctrines and terrorism activities. The research shows that  the salafy doctrines have nothing to do with terrorism in Indonesia.
