The goals of this research are (1) to know the effects of Guided Inquiry learning model to students’ analyze skill, (2) to know how much the increasing of students’ analyze skill ability caused Guided Inquiry learning model. This research is (quasi experiment) with pretest-posttest control group design. The variable of this research include the independent variable of Guided Inquiry learning model and dependent variable of physics analyze skill. The population of this research is all grade X MIPA students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Sragen in the academic year of 2016/2017. Taking sample is done with simple random sampling technique. X MIPA 3 is choosen as control class and X MIPA 4 as experiment class. The instrument of the data used test instrument to know the increase of students’ analyze skill. The technique is used to analyze the data is parametric statistic that "t" is tested use Normalized Gain (N-Gain). The result of the research shows that: (1) Guided Inquiry learning model has effects to students’ analyze skill in the material of temperature and heat (level significance (sig. 2-tailed) = 0,012 ɑ = 0,05; so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected), (2) Guided Inquiry learning model can increase students’ analyze skill in the material of temperature and heat (N-Gain experiment class = 0,036 (medium) NGain control class = 0,15 (low)). %Z Winarti, M.Pd.Si
