This is Quasi Experimental research with nonequivalent Group Design. The variables in this research include independent variable is learning with problem solving laboratory learning model and dependent variable is the increasing of students’ physics literacy ability. The Subject of this research is all of students X IPA SMA UII Yogyakarta in academic year 2016/2017. The experiment class is X IPA A and the control class is X IPA B. The data of students’ physics literacy ability is gotten through pretest-posttest sheet with multiple choice question. The data of the increasing of students’ physics literacy is analyzed by usding descriptive statistic and N-Gain formula. The results show that problem solving laboratory learning model can show the difference of students’ physics literacy ability with average score of experiment class at 70.64 while the average score of control class at 61,88.
