The type of this research is descriptive quantitative, with the research subject is the perception of the user library and the research object is perception of the library user about librarian in serving the user in HAMKA library Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Condangcatur Yogyakarta. The population of this study consisting of grade 4 to 6 elementary school students as well as teachers and employees amounting 559 users. From that population taken sample based on Yamane formula, obtained samples of 85 library users from the total sample. The sampling method used of this study is purposive sampling The variable of this research is single variable which is perception librarian to serve library user. The measurement of the perception librarian based on the main task and function of the librarian in HAMKA library Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Condangcatur Yogyakarta in terms of service to the user. The result of the research shows that based on the perception of the user about the service in HAMKA library Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Condangcatur Yogyakarta with total average score 3,43, so it is categorized very good. Based on that, it is suggested to the librarian in HAMKA library Muhammadiyah Elementary School of Condangcatur Yogyakarta to more improve the service to the user, that is by adding librarian for librarian assist in teaching and learning activities with teachers in the library more influence. ( INDONESIA ) Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah persepsi pemustaka tentang pustakawan dalam melayani pemustaka di Perpustakaan “HAMKA” SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Yogyakarta. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan subyek penelitian persepsi pemustaka dan obyek penelitian adalah persepsi pemustaka tentang pustakawan dalam melayani pemustaka di Perpustakaan “HAMKA” SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Yogyakarta. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah pemustaka yang terdiri dari siswa kelas 4 sampai 6 SD serta guru dan karyawan yang berjumlah 559 pemustaka. Dari populasi tersebut diambil sampel berdasar rumus Yamane, didapat sampel sejumlah 85 pemustaka. Cara penentuan sampel dalam Penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Variabel dalam penelitian ini bersifat tunggal yaitu persepsi pemustaka tentang pustakawan dalam melayani pemustaka. Pengukuran persepsi pemustaka berdasar tugas pokok dan fungsi pustakawan di Perpustakaan “HAMKA” SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Yogyakarta dalam hal pelayanan kepada pemustaka. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahawa berdasarkan persepsi pemustaka tentang pelayanan di Perpustakaan “HAMKA” SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Yogyakarta dengan hasil total nilai rata-rata sebesar 3,43, sehingga dikategorikan sangat baik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut maka disarankan kepada pustakawan di Perpustakaan “HAMKA” SD Muhammadiyah Condongcatur Yogyakarta untuk lebih meningkatkan pelayanan kepada pemustaka, yaitu dengan menambah tenaga pustakawan agar pendampingan pustakawan dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar bersama guru di perpustakaan lebih maksimal. %Z Drs, Djazim Rohmadi, M.Si.
