        abstract = {One of the sciological-antropolois variants of Muslims in Indonesia is the Muslim
kejawen community. These Muslim societies have distinctive characteristics, they
have adherence to Islamic doctrin and at the same time have closeness to
?kebatinan? values. In the context of sharia banking, this research seeks to
discribe the perception of the Muslim kejawen community against sharia banking.
Basides it also explains the influence of the mystical and intellectual system of
Islam in bulding perceptions of sharia banking. The hypothesis drawn is the
mystical and intellectual system of islam has a positive and significant impact on
the perception of sharia banking. This research uses quantitative methods, data
collection using questionnaire and interview techniques, data management using
t-parsial test and f-simultaneous test on regression test results. The Perception of
the Muslim kejawen community determined based on the influnace of the mystical
and intellectual system of Islam in shaping the perception of sharia banking.}
