N2  - This study aims to analyze whether the variable knowledge of financial planning, semester, income, and lifestyle to the level of awareness of students in preparing personal financial planning at the students of the Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta either partially or simultaneously. Based on the formulation of this type of research problem is causal associative research. The main data source in this study used primary data, namely by distributing questionnaires to students. The population in this study are students of Faculty of Economics and Islamic Business UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta force 2012-2017. Of the total population of 1,707 students, based on the Slovin formula obtained a sample of 100 respondents with Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The approach used is a quantitative approach. Data obtained from questionnaires processed with tools SPSS version 19 and 22. Data analysis techniques used are multiple regression analysis. As for hypothesis testing using t test and F test. The results obtained in this study indicate that simultaneously variable knowledge of financial planning, semester, income, lifestyle significantly influence the level of awareness of students in preparing personal financial planning. However, for income and lifestyle variables do not have a significant effect on the variable level of student awareness.
