"The purpose of this research is to determine the relationship between efficiency\r\nand market share, with price and promotion, as parts of marketing strategy by Philip\r\nKotler, being its moderating variables. The method in this research is quantitative\r\nresearch using DEA (Data Envelopment Analysis) and regression analysis. The\r\nsample contains of twelve Sharia Commercial Banks which own a legal business\r\npermit in the observed years and have a complete required data of input and output\r\nvariables. The finding suggests that, in year of 2012 to 2016, the efficiency of Islamic\r\nbanks have a positive statistically significant relationship toward market share. It also\r\nresults that both price and promotion variables support to be quasi moderator and\r\nshowing output of statistically significant relationship toward market share.\r\nAccording to the finding, it can be concluded that Islamic banks can improve their\r\nmarket share by increasing their efficiency, price, and promotion simultaneously, but\r\nthat is not the only element.
