%T ANALISIS PENGARUH CORPORATE GOVERNANCE TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN PADA PERUSAHAAN YANG TERDAFTAR DI INDEX SAHAM SYARIAH INDONESIA (ISSI) PERIODE 2012-2016
%X The research focuses on corporate governance. Corporate governance serves as a monitoring mechanism in the company that arises due to a conflict of interests between shareholders and management of company. The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the influence of corporate governance on financial performance at companies listed in Indonesia Sharia Shares Index (ISSI) period 2012-2016. Based on 121 observed firms, panel data regression of fixed effect model has been used to investigate the relevance of corporate governance mechanism to the company’s financial performance. From the result of the research, it is found that the variables that have posistive effect on financial performance are the proportion of independent commissioner, institutional ownership, and board size. While the frequency of directors meetings variable has no effect on financial performance. Thus, this study suggests to companies to improve corporate governance mechanisms to maximize the companiy’s financial performance.
