        abstract = {This research aims to determine how social support was obtained by Papuan student that had ever felt culture shock and knew the influenced factors in Yogyakarta. This research, the method used qualitative method and it used study case approach. The data collection used observation and interview methods. This research was conducted on three Papuan students who studied in one of famous university in Yogyakarta. This result of this research shown that culture shock affected the psychological condition. So it appeared anxious feeling, confused, loss of identity, loss of direction and did not know what should they do, and they just wanted to go home to Papua. There were factors that affected culture shock they were: (a) lost of identity, (b) lost of communication, and language factor was the problem, (c) crisis of identity. Social support obtained by Papua students are: (a) emotional support, (b) award support, (c) instrumental support, (d) information support and (e) social network support.}
