This research aimed to apply the green laser photoacoustic tool to differentiate beef and pork. This research was done through five phases: literature review and observation, preparation of tools and materials, making samples, testing samples, and results analysis of testing samples. Result of this research showed that the green laser photoacoustic tool could not be used to differentiate beef and pork. It was possible to be caused by wavelength of the laser used (green laser 303) did not equal with to wavelength of required samples for absorbed and the selection of laser frequency modulation that did not equal with the binding energy of sample molecules, than the energy of laser modulation used did not resonance with energy of sample molecules that could result in occurrence an acustic signal of beef and pork.
