Teknologi\r\ninformasi saat ini bukan hanya sebagai gaya hidup, melainkan juga menjadi\r\nkebutuhan utama kehidupan manusia. Perkembangan teknologi informasi tersebut\r\ndilatarbelakangi oleh kemasan teknologi yang spektakuler. Kemasan tersebut di\r\nantaranya adalah aplikasi perangkat lunak yang menawarkan berbagai fitur\r\nmenarik, flexible, dan upgradable yang dapat memberikan kemudahan,\r\nkenyamanan, dan kepuasan masyarakat. Tuntutan kebutuhan akan teknologi\r\ninformasi yang beragam ini memberikan implikasi yang cukup serius dalam\r\nberbagai ranah, seperti pemerintahan, sosial, pendidikan, budaya, politik, dan\r\nkhususnya perpustakaan. Perpustakaan di Indonesia pada umumnya masih\r\ndominan meng-implementasikan katalog bersama yang biasa disebut dengan\r\nistilah UCS (Union catalog Server). Melalui media/fitur UCS (Union Catalog\r\nServer) berbasis SLiMS yang dibangun oleh komunitas SLiMS Yogyakarta\r\ntersebut, penulis merasa terdorong melakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui\r\ndengan pasti seberapa besar tingkat kepuasan anggota dalam menggunakan UCS\r\n(Union Catalog Server). Alasan mendasar yang menyebabkan penulis memilih\r\nkatalog induk Muhammadiyah sebagai lokasi dan objek kajian karena katalog\r\ninduk Muhammadiyah merupakan diantara lembaga yang menggunakan UCS\r\n(Union Catalog Server).\r\nTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahu pengaruh kualitas terhadap\r\nkepuasan kontributor UCS SLiMS. Kontributor adalah admin dari masing-masing\r\nperpustakaan, Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif,\r\npengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menyebar kuisioner (angket). Populasi\r\ndalam penelitian ini sebanyak 17 responden yang berasal dari anggota UCS\r\n(union catalog server) Katalog Induk Muhammadiyah. Dari hasil penelitian yang\r\npeneliti lakukan terdapat pengaruh yang kuat antara kualitas UCS SLiMS\r\nterhadap kepuasan kontributor di perpustakaan lembaga pendidikan\r\nMuhammadiyah Yogyakarta. dari hasil Variabel Kualitas yaitu Operabilitas\r\n(Operability) 3,941 (tinggi), Latihan (Training) 3,765 (tinggi). Variabel Kepuasan\r\nyaitu subvariabel isi (Content) 3,588 (tinggi), keakuratan (Accuracy) 3,676\r\n(tinggi), Bentuk (Format) 3,647 (tinggi), selanjutnya sub variabel Kemudahan\r\nPenggunaan (ease of use) 3,912 (tinggi), Waktu (timeliness) 3,824 (tinggi). Hal\r\ntersebut dibuktikan dengan uji F dan uji t. Yaitu nilai F hitung (12,264) > F tabel\r\n(4,54 ) dengan taraf kesalahan 5% (0,05), dan nilai t hitung (3,502) > t tabel\r\n(2,131) dengan taraf kesalahan 5% (0,05). Selain itu, pada uji korelasi diketahui\r\nbahwa koefisien korelasi di antara dua variabel adalah sebesar 0,671 atau 67,1%.\r\nHal tersebut berarti 32,9% kepuasan kontributor dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang\r\ntidak diteliti dalam penelitian ini.
