Because of the low scientific literacy ratings of Indonesia according to PISA, the development of digital media has become a momentum for improving the science literacy rankings. The development of technology in the digital age offers a paradigm shift in the learning process including in teaching science literacy for students of MI/SD. Learning is not only in the classroom or real laboratory. However, teachers can utilize instructional media in increasing science literacy through computer simulation/virtual laboratory, e-learning, digital book, video, film etc. The digital era provides open access to interactive materials and information through the internet network.
