Researchers across a range of diciplines have started to explore and acknowledge the positive contribution spirituality and religion can make to mental healthier. Spiritual religious coping is one of the coping mechanism. This research aims to find out how spiritual religious coping in a mother as the main caregiver who has a child down syndrome. This research uses qualitative method with case study approach. The data in this research is obtained by using interview and observation method. Subjects in this study consisted of three mothers, each educating children with Down syndrome aged children, adolescents and adults. Factors affecting spiritual-religious coping on the three informants come from internal factors (openness, resigned, acceptance, self efficacy, appreciation of religion) the external (social support in the community). Implementation of religious coping is islamic religious ritual (prayer, fasting and praying) and social relations. While the implementation of spiritual coping is the believe the child is entrusted, the parenting is part of the fusion of sin, the grace, the patience, hope of reward from God. The three informants underwent a perceived change in the view that the prosperity was waged, the close comfort with God, and the surrender of control to God, and the transformation of happy and strong feelings.
