N2  - In making a video, software be required as a tool to perform video editing process untill that it develop as a video presentation that is intact and attractive. In addition to video editing software, some part that must be required to making the video is a qualified hardware specification, especially for internal memory (RAM). On the basis of these problems and facts, this research is conducted to determine the pattern of internal memory data usage of video editing software when be given a light, medium and heavy load, and determine the standard reference value of memory usage in a more objective video editing software. This research uses descriptive quantitative approach with observation method. The use of the memory of ten video editing software from two different types of laptop hardware specifications, will be given the workload of light, medium and heavy and then taken the value of the use of memory. And from the results of memory usage values are then analyzed using descriptive statistics for measured concentration and distribution of data. Based on the results of the test that used of memory video editing software, then its known patterns of memory usage of video editing software when be given different loads showing dynamic data patterns ,or not fixed. For standard reference value of internal memory usage in video editing software for laptop 1 with intel core i3 processor specification with 4096 MB of internal memory is 479,61 MB, and for standard reference value of internal memory usage of video editing software for laptop 2 with AMD FX-8800P Radeon R7 processor specification with big internal memory 8192 MB is 603,62 MB.
