So it needs to evaluate the policy of MDTT. This research aimed to find out the reason of the religion Ministry in initiating policies about MDTT, how the process of implementation is and the evaluation of policy MDTT in elementary school of Suryodiningratan 2. This research used qualitative evaluative research approach. This type of research is evaluative and using the CIPP Model (Context, Input, Process, Product) from Stufflebeam. The data collecting technique is using the method in the form of interviews, observation, documentation, and triangulation of the data. Data analysis techniques used Miles and Huberman models, using interactive pattern and persisted thoroughly until the data is already saturated. The obtained results showed that the reason of the religion Ministry of Yogyakarta city formulated the policies of MDTT is because of concern towards learners in elementary school whom the reading and writing skill level of Al-Qur?an (BTAQ) are low, in technical matters held cooperation agreement with the Department of education of Yogyakarta. The implementation of MDTT in SD N Suryodiningratan 2 involves the school and extension officers Honorary Religion (PAH) as MDTT teachers so that the process of implementation of the activities of planning, implementation, and evaluation can be run properly. The results for the evaluation policy MDTT using model CIPP evaluation and the results (+ + + +). It illustrated that context components is effective, the input components are adequate and sufficient enough, the components of the process also goes well with the cooperation between related parties, and components of the product also generate significant changes that related to religious knowledge on learners. Then, based on the finding of the study results using the CIPP can be concluded that the MDTT policy is quite effective.} }
