Now, it is not difficult to find ads for Muslim housing. The ads are already spread, both in print and online. In Yogyakarta it can be easy to find good Muslim housing which is in the development stage as well as the sales stage. This study intends to examine the existing phenomenon and the development of Muslim housing with a review of the Sociology of Islamic Law in terms of consumer behavior in choosing to purchase such housing as well as the efforts of the developers in building and developing Muslim housing. This is done to find out what lies behind the existence and development of Muslim housing in Yogyakarta and who the parties involved in development and development. Given the condition of the city of Yogyakarta is known as a plural and plural city that upholds the diversity of tribes, cultures, and religions. With the presence of Muslim housing certainly pushed to a homogeneous lifestyle. Due to one requirement to be able to buy and live in Muslim housing is with the existence of Muslim ID card. This type of research is field research with Sociology approach of Islamic law. While the data analysis method used is descriptive analytics. In the method of collecting data compiler using library study method, observation and in-depth interview with semi structured format (semi structured). Informants in this study were recruited using purposive sampling technique. The results show that the existence and development of Muslim housing is influenced by: (1) Capitalism (2) Exclusivity, (3) Homogenization, and (4) Confirmation of religious identity. Producer behavior in developing Muslim housing includes acts that violate the principle of responsibility and conceive ghoror in the transaction, because there are consumers who feel cheated and feel harmed. The consumer behavior in choosing Muslim housing is a bad habit (al-'urf al-fasid) and should be eliminated in the middle of their lives. This is evident from the attitude of those who tend to live in groups, wanting uniformity and rejecting the surrounding fame.
