%X This research is purposed to acquaint the Level Of References Book
Utilization In The Library Of Economic Faculty Janabadra Yogyakarta. This
research uses descriptive-quantitative method with the 2014 generation
economic students as a subject and the Level Of References Book Utilization In
Library Of Economic Faculty Janabadra as the object. The population of this
research is students Of Economic Faculty In Janabadra University from 2014
generation up to 2017 generation which are amounted 880 people. Based on the
population will be taken a sample by Yamane accidental sampling method and
this research takes 90 of 880 as the sample.
The method and technique that will be used in data collecting is
observation method, documentation, interview and questionnaire analysis
descriptively and quantitatively. The measurement of effectiveness will be
based on likert scale (4-1) which its result is interpreted in to agree, less agree,
and disagree. The result of the research will show that the Level of the
references book utilization by collages of Janabadra Yogyakarta in the library of
economic faculty is high enough which the highest is 2,94 and the lowest is
2,57. So can be concluded that the average of references books utilization by
colleges in library of Janabadra university is high. Libraries need to subscribe
online journals, libraries need to rearrange collections on the shelves so that
users no longer have trouble finding collections and libraries need to evolve
collection monthly.
