abstract: This study aimed to determine the perception of students of library science class of UIN Sunan Kalijaga toward librarian Anisa characters in the "Pasca Cetak" movie.This research used quantitative descriptive method, Library Science student of 2011 UIN Sunan Kalijaga as subject and student's perception on Anisa character in "Pasca Cetak" movie as the object. The population of this research were UIN Sunan Kalijaga student year of 2011 which amounted to 93 people. The population samples taken according to the formula Yamane, which were 49 people. The sampling used an accidental sampling formula. Methods and techniques used in data collection were the methods of observation, documentation, interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis was descriptively quantitative. Measurement effectiveness based on likert scale (4-1) which results interpreted to strongly agree, agree, disagree, strongly disagree. The result of the research showed that the perception of UIN Sunan Kalijaga library student year of 2011 toward Anisa characters in "Pasca Cetak" movie was good with total score of 3.16. Based on the average value, it can be analyzed that the perception of UIN Sunan Kalijaga library student year of 2011 toward Anisa character described on "Pasca Cetak" movie was good. But there are some things to note, such as services that need improvement. Librarians should be able to listen to what the library visitors need in order to provide services or simplicity for the librarian.
