abstract: The aims of this research were to know the workflow of manuscript processing and digitalising at Museum Dewantara Kriti Griya Tamansiswa’s Library and the problem faced. This research was a qualitative descriptive research. The data analysis in this research used Matthew Miles and Huberman, which was data reduction, data display, and conclussion. The results were; (1) The manuscript processing at Museum Dewantara Kriti Griya’s Library, includes 3 activities were manuscript registration, labelling, and shelving. Meanwhile, the manuscript digitalization includes 5 activities were script selection, scanning, marking the script, editing, and saving into hard disk and CD. (2) The Problems of the manuscript processing was lack of the Human Resources and the fragile manuscript condition. Meanwhile, the problem in the manuscript digitalization was the lack of Human Resources and the equipment to support the digitalization activity. (3) The effort to resolve the lack of human resources in processing the manuscript collection was using free time for shelving and repairing the manuscript. Meanwhile, the effort to resolve the lack of human resources and facilities in manuscript digitalization was by establishing cooperation with BPAD, Mikimedia, and BPNP in digitalization of the manuscript.
