N2  - This research aims to look at the influence of age, lifestyle, disposable income, ratio / level of profit, and location of saving preferences in Islamic banks (case study: students of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta). For this study, using 100 samples of UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta students who have accounts in Islamic banks, were taken using stratified random sampling by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale. This research is based on primary data in the form of questionnaires collected from all respondents. Data analysis method uses Multiple Linear Regression analysis with F-test and T-test and coefficient of determination. As for
testing instruments using validity, reliability, and classical assumption tests. The results showed that lifestyle (X2), ratio / profit level (X4), and location (X5) had a significant influence on the preference to save UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta students in Islamic banks. While the results indicate that the influence of Age (X1) and Disposable income (X3) on the preference to save students at UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta in Islamic banks is not significant. The result of the equation Y = 5,483 + (-0,155) X1 + 0,489 X2 + (-3,807) X3 + 0,214 X4 + 0,185 + e.
Adjusted R square value of 0.428 shows that the independent variable explains 42.8% of the dependent variable. While the remaining 57.2% is explained by other variables not examined.
