This study uses a quantitative approach. The object in this study is service quality (X1), word of mouth (X2), and interest in being a customer (Y). The subject of this research is customers who have Islamic banking accounts in Yogyakarta. The sample of this study amounted to 100 customers who were taken using simple purposive sampling method. Data collection techniques using questionnaire questionnaire. The analysis technique used in this study is regression, which is looking for the effect of X variables on Y variables. The regression results show that service quality and word of mouth variables have a positive and significant effect on the decision to become sharia banking customers in Yogyakarta. The influence of service quality and word of mouth on the decision to become sharia banking customers is 52.1\%, while 47.9\% is influenced by variables other than service quality and word of mouth.} }
