Abdul Rozak, M.Pd. abstract: Nowdays social media has become a necessity for almost everyone, especially among the modern society. It’s gradually brought us into a new cultural pattern. Youtube is one of the social media that has a big influence toward people’s mindset and even their culture of behavior at this time. Generally, people today tend to watch videos on Youtube with the different motives, it is happen because the avalaibility of videos that served by Youtube are comes from various backgrounds. This study aims to determine the relationship of motivation and satisfaction in form of using Youtube to students of Al-Munawwir boarding school Nurussalam. The theory that used in this study is uses and gratification. The approach in this study is a quantitative approach with survey methods. Data collection techniques using questionnaires. The number of samples taken was 73 respondents, while the sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Data analysis used non-parametric analysis using the formula of chi square. The results of this study can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected which means there is a relationship between motives with satisfaction to the students of Al-Munawwir boarding school Nurussalam in accessing Youtube media.
