%X The development of information and communication technology
experience growth very rapid towards digital. User of smartphone in this era
having an increase and become the community’s need to search information.
This change caused many companies to take the opportunity to innovate the
promoting media. This opportunity is utilized by the Government of Daerah
Istimewa Yogyakarta through the Office of Communications and Informatics
that try to provide innovation for get more information quickly, efficient and
interactive. The application is "Jogja Istimewa", this innovation aims to
maximize the existing services in Government of Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta.
This research was conducted by interview with the Office of
Communication and Information DIY especially in the Information Technology
Development Services. This research uses descriptive method with qualitative
approach. The results showed that the Government should should have innovate
to adjust the development of technologyso can provide center of information for
the community.For the goals is services provided by the Government of DIY
increasingly competitive.
Preparation of promotional strategies using media applications
conducted Diskominfo DIY has several stages that can facilitate this agency in
achieving its objectives. Stages are to determine the target market, determine
goals, set budgets, program planning, program implementation, develop
relationships, evaluation and monitoring. With the stages of making this
promotion strategy can provide information services in a centralized, fast,
efficient and interactive.
