abstract: This research is a qualitative research with a background in SMK IslamAl-Qomar Nganjuk. The method of determining the subject by using purposive sampling technique with the subject data of the Principal, Educator, and students of the Industrial Engineering Department and the Multimedia Department of SMK Islam Al-Qomar Nganjuk. Data collection is done by observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis is done by collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and conclusions. Examination of data validity is done by triangulating sources and techniques and combining them with theory. The results of the study show that: (1) The quality of education in SMK Islam Al-Qomar to the improvement of education quality is that there is no school accreditation, the school buildings are not neat, the limitations of educators, the number of students is still small, limited education funding 2) The rincipal's
strategy in improving the quality of education in SMK Islam Al-Qomar with the principle of entrepreneurial traits implemented through strategy: innovation by reading opportunities that hone the ability of students in the field of photo and video services, ID cards and screen printing, and car ervices. Hard work by following the training of school principals, education and training programs to SMK, and supporting educators who will continue their bachelor degree. Strong motivation to improve quality. Never give up by finding the best solution in solving problems that exist in SMK Islam Al-Qomar. Having entrepreneurial instincts by collaborating with Manpower Officers, conducting industry visits, and building the character of students to be ready to work, continue their studies, and become  entrepreneurs. The results of quality improvement through entrepreneurial competencies of the SMK Islam Al-Qomar, namely increasing the competency of graduates who work, and continuing their studies. 2) effective and efficient learning process. 3) standard content that is in accordance with the
curriculum and developed in accordance with the department. 4) competent and professional educators, as well as increasing students. 5) adequate facilities and infrastructure with sophisticated technology. 6) education funding from BOS, PKH, SPP, and the results of school business groups. 7) assessments that are in accordance with graduate competency standards, and student achievement increases.
