%A NIM. 1620411051 Muhimatul ‘Aliyah %O Dr. Andi Prastowo, M.Pd.I %T MANAJEMEN STRATEGIS PENJAMINAN MUTU DALAM MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS LULUSAN PONDOK PESANTREN MODERN ISLAM ASSALAAM SURAKARTA JAWA TENGAH %X The focus of study in this research is based on dynamic epochs and social changes due to modernization causing pesantren to experience the development and dynamics of several aspects including management, curriculum, openness, functional, and institutional which later gave birth to a variety of pesantren forms. Unfortunately this development is not evenly distributed in all pesantren. Because in general pesantren still face serious obstacles concerning the availability of professional human resources and generally conventional management applications. Therefore pesantren began to improve themselves with improved management as a form of developing pesantren in realizing quality outputs (graduates). This research is a field research in the form of qualitative research which took place in Assalaam Islamic Modern Boarding School. Data collection techniques are carried out with methods of observation, interviews and documentation. Data validity test uses source and data triangulation method. Data analysis used the theories of Matthew Miles and Michael Hubberman with data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing or verification. The results showed: First, strategic management planning to improve the quality of graduates of Assalaam Islamic Modern Boarding School includes: Formulation of vision and mission related PPMI Assalaam's vision and mission which is then made by KPI (Key Performance Indicator) as an indicator of UPM’s work program, Organizational Assessment by implementing 5 Organizational stages: details of work, division of tasks, integration of work, coordination and monitoring and reorganization, formulation of specific objectives, namely with UPM formulating based on PPMI Assalaam's vision and mission, and strategic determination using functional strategies that function throughout the functional area of UPM PPMI Assalaam. Second, UPM strategic management implementation is to carry out work programs, such as: 1) improving the quality of teaching staff 2) coaching class XII student or sixth class students 3) guaranteeing the quality standards of graduates of education 3) strengthening management.
